Local 764, as a Labor Union, has an expectation of our members working, earning money, and paying 2% of those earnings to the local in dues. The local has set the minimum amount of dues each member should pay in a calendar year as $160. This is 2% of $8,000. Any member not earning $8,000 in a calendar year will be assessed $160 or whatever part of that equals 2% of $8,000. All members are informed of the minimum assessment at the time of their registration.
