LOCAL 764 2020 TOY DRIVE
TOY DRIVE 2020
Local 764’s TOY DRIVE 2020 is a go this year! This is the 25th Anniversary of the Toy Drive, and we are excited to continue the tradition, with a few changes due to concerns for the health and safety of all.
From Toy Drive Chair Jim Collum:
We have been faced with some very difficult obstacles in the 25 Years of our Local 764 Toy Drive: we have overcome the tech stock bubble, the destruction of 9/11, the Great Recession of 2007, and now we are faced with an unprecedented pandemic which has affected every avenue of our lives.
Throughout it all our members have lifted up our community and brought their collective generosity front and center. We have always achieved our goals of helping homeless children and their families living with HIV/AIDS each holiday season. This year we need your help as much as ever. Please, if you can, donate an unwrapped toy!”
Now through December 16th!WHAT:
UNWRAPPED Toys for children of all ages:
Teens and tweens are especially in need: sporting goods, crafting sets and drawing equipment all make good gifts. If you are giving an electronic toy, please include the necessary batteries! (PLEASE NOTE: Stuffed animals are not recommended due to the children’s’ immune deficiency.)
