Welcome to Day 4!

The Fire Next Time is a 1963 non-fiction book by James Baldwin, which contains two essays. This is 70 pages, so may take until Friday to finish! The link below is to the New York Public Library (which also has audio books) but it is available online through a variety of dealers/retailers.

This book is a necessary read. Baldwin is an American treasure. His frankness about race, the Black experience and politics is a valuable resource and historical map as to how America has arrived here.

I hope you all enjoy it.
