Shelly Friedman has been a member of Local 764 since 1984 and a Trustee on Executive Board since 2000. She is also a Trustee on both the Benefit Funds and the 401K Fund. She served for one term from 2009 to 2012 as Secretary/Treasurer of Local 764.
Shelly started her wardrobe career working Off and Off-Off Broadway before landing her first Broadway show “42nd Street”. Since joining Local 764, she has worked exclusively in Live Performance, on Broadway as well as at the Metropolitan Opera and Madison Square Garden. Her Broadway credits include, among others: “Me and My Girl”, “Crazy for You”, “Les Miserables”, “Lion King” and “The Phantom of the Opera”.
