Dealing with the stairs, standing or sitting for long periods of time, the kneeling, the overflowing laundry baskets that get maneuvered through tight quarters, the weight of costumes, the cumbersome of costumes, the repetition, all these daily routines take a toll on your body. When your job is this physical, it is important to understand how to safely and efficiently use your body to prevent injury.
In this workshop, you will learn why these common injuries occur and how you can help avoid them from happening to you. Including kinesthetic training in efficient posture, lifting, carrying, and bending, along with strengthening and stretching that will help support efficiency.
